Oatmeal Peanut Butter Dog Treats

Love this recipe. My two dogs (Vino and Enzo) go crazy for these treats.  So easy and quick to make.  I found my dog bone cookie cutter at a local kitchen store.

 Makes about 50 small bones
INGREDIENTS

¼ cup honey

½ cup peanut butter
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 cup chicken broth
1 cup whole wheat flour
1 cup unbleached all purpose flour
1 cup rolled oats
¼ cup wheat germ (optional)

DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Whisk together honey, peanut butter, olive oil and chicken broth. Combine flours and rolled oats.  Mix wet into dry ingredients.  Place dough on floured surface.  Roll dough out about ½ inch thick and cut with cookie cutter.  Keep rolling out until all leftover scraps are used.  Place cut cookies on parchment lined or sprayed cookie sheet and bake for 15 minutes.   These are more of a cookie consistency and not a hard treat.
